The Morning after I had connected with spirit through the Currawongs (an Australian bird) I sat quietly and had a sudden urge to write. This is when I channelled the reading I would go onto to read at my sons funeral.

*Yesterday, today, and tomorrow I am thankful and grateful to the universe for a treasured gift, a son who we named Matthew.

We all got to borrow Matt for a short while.

Matthew came to teach and show us love, patience, kindness, joy, and fear, I actually think he showed us the entire chocolate box of emotions. 

Today I am experiencing grief, despair, disbelief and a deep hollow loss

This is what being human is all about, so please don’t be afraid of this, don’t give into to this. don’t give up to this, it is simply a part of life.

It is my belief that before we are born, we each have made a conscious decision to experience this humanness with all that is has to offer.

Happiness, Joy, pain, grief, and despair are part of what being a human is all about.

I am thankful for this pain, grief, and despair that we all hold in our hearts today because it means that our beautiful Matthew was loved.

As Alfred, Lord Tennyson said 

‘Tis better to have loved and lost

then to have never loved at all’

This is how I understand it:

We are all simply made up of energy, think of it as star dust that has pulse, a life.

The earth, the sky, all living creatures – everything is made up of this star dust.

It creates and dissipates; it moves and lives, it takes form and shape, and it reacts to love.

In fact, this energy is Love,

Pure love.

You are made up of love,

you are a living human energy form of love.

We, the moon the earth the ocean the trees are all made up of the same stuff.

When we die, we simply return to the source of love of which we came from.

There is no disconnection between life and death, there is no end, there is no separation.

Therefore, the energy that created Matthew is the same energy that created us, just with a different human personality and path.

Matthew lives within you, Matthew lives within me, he lives within the sky, the trees, the ocean.

Matthew hasn’t gone, he will never be gone, he has simply transformed back to the pure form of love.

Whenever you are missing Matt, all you need to do is place your hands on you heart and he will be right there.

Actually I’d like you to place your hands on heart right now, and if you drawn to, close your eyes otherwise just keep them opened.

Just know that the love you are holding love in your heart for Matt, you also hold it for yourself and hold for the person next to you and hold for all human existence. There is no separation there is no end only there is only love.
